Avatar movie review.

OK,Just watch Avatar. Now Moon and Bob are going to hate me,but I liked it. OK granted the story is weak and predicable. The visuals are really fantastic as well as know that it was done mainly on Green Screen. Should it have won best picture no,but I did enjoy it. 

Knowing that there are going to be 2 more films kinda puts me off. James Cameron did make some really good movies but this one is good but not great. I know I will get some flack for saying I liked it,I also know that my reasons are sound. It's an OK movie not Epically Great as most people say it is. Just because you shine a piece of crap up ,it's still a piece of crap. Over all I would give this movie a C+,good visuals weak story.

R.I.P. Leslie Neilsen and Irvin Kirshner

Today we lost some great member of Hollywood. 1st Leslie Neilsen best known for his roles in the Naked Gun movies which he worked along side O.J. Simpson as well as the late Anna Nicole Smith. He was also in one of my favorite movies Airplane. He was 84. 2nd was Irvin Kirshner best know for directing the movie Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back the second installment of the original Trilogy. How in most of fans opinion was a better director of the films then George Lucas.


My prayers go out to their family.

My thoughts on TF:Prime

I really enjoy this new animated series of Transformers. It is very dark and I believe geared to the adult viewers.
Voice acting was very good and made me relive my childhood. So stay tuned for more on the show.

I really like this figure.ROTF Brawn is an up-grade from hi G1 mini-bot counter part. He's got guns and guts.

What's in a name? or Solar Storm Grapple

With the new line called "Reveal The Shield" we got the 1st look at "Solar Storm" Grapple. Thats right his name is Solar Storm Grapple you know Hasbro and names Trailbraker is now called Trailcutter,Outback is now called Fallback and dont get me started on the new names they gave the Reissued Insecticon. Most of us collectors will call him Grapple and thats it.

So lets talk about the toy,he is a repaint and retooled of Classic 2.0 Inferno. New head,redone arms and side panels. The paint job is very G1 looking. Alt mode is fantastic,his crane mode is very nicely done.

Robot mode made me "squee". The new head looks very G1,with a crane as a weapon,LOOK OUT CONs!
It is my opinion that is is very FULL NAKED BACON!

Japan version of HFD Voyager Prime

The Japaneses toy collectors have their own version of HFD Voyager Prime,this one has Battle Hooks. Now the new Voyager Prime is a smaller version of Leader Prime from ROTF line in the US. In the Hunt For Decepticons toy line we got a Leader Prime with Battle Hooks. Now the Japan toy line has a Voyager Prime that is a smaller version of HFD Leader Prime sporting the hooks as well. In my opinion it looks alright,but I don't know if I will drop down the money for it.

Generations Blurr DO WANT!

So the Transformers Generations toyline has a repaint that most collectors are wanting. That is Blurr, he is a repaint and slight retooling of the Generations Drift figure. With a smaller spoiler and new head mold, we get for the first time an "earth mode" Blurr. I myself would love to get my hands on this figure not only he it Blurr but it is a very cool mold as well. It also sports two hidden guns where on Drift there are swords.So wonder how fast  John Moschitta can say "Bluur is the fastest thing on all of earth and Cybertron!"

Today's review will be G1 Encore SkyLynx. This is just a short written review of the toy. SkyLynx is a very nice toy with 1 modes and two beast modes as well as a combined beast mode. He also has a walking/rolling gimmick. The video today will show off all points to this toy.
